It sounds silly but I’ve been looking for a plaid shirt for awhile. There are lots and lots of options out there but since they are typically associated with winter, most of them tend to be a thicker material. Annnd button up tops that have thicker material are not flattering on me whatsoever. This top from Cotton On is so light weight and I love that it’s a little longer in the back.
You can always layer up if needed which seems to be the way to go in really cold temps.
I learned that the hard way during my first visit to Idaho a couple Thanksgivings ago. I wore this really thick sweater that I had never worn before because, well, it was never cold enough. But after we arrived at our destination (family’s house) were inside all day cooking, so the temperature outside was completely irrelevant. Needless to say I was desperately wishing I had a layer on underneath so I could cool off, but I hadn’t planned that, so I felt like I was still in California. Lesson learned ? Thanks for reading!
