Daily Style Diary: Free People Quilted Dolman Jacket

We had a quick pit stop in Breckenridge on our way to the airport during our Aspen trip last month. It was our second time visiting and it’s such a cute town! It started snowing while we were walking around looking for somewhere to eat, which made the town even more quaint ❄❄ There is usually a horse drawn carriage walking down the street, but since it was technically off season we didn’t see it. I would love to come back and visit during the actual winter to see everything covered in snow! One thing I love about Breckenridge is that they have a Christmas store open year round ? When we came last summer it was fun to look around and get excited about Christmas. I asked the owner if they ever close during the year and she said no, they’re busy year round!

Let me talk about this jacket real quick because it’s such a good one to have in your closet. Basically any type of sweater fits underneath it so it’s wonderful for layering.

It’s soft but also warm, which is my favorite part.

I originally bought the grey color, but after trying it on with a few outfits I realized I would rather just have the black. I’ve been keeping my eye on it in the black and white colors so I can purchase them when they go on sale. I actually did get this one sale too now that I think about it… I believe I purchased it from Macy’s. That is seriously the place to look for sale Free People items. The good stuff on the Free People website hardly ever goes on sale, so if you have your eye on something check on Macy’s! Also, these are my dupe Stuart Weitzman Highland boots that I’ve talked about a few times. They look identical to the real version and I tend to where these more since real suede is easy to get dirty. They come in a few colors and are $99, so if you’re an over the knee boot lover, these are a must!
