Finally posting pictures of my favorite distressed jeans, which you might have seen all over the place since they’ve been extremely popular this year. This type of of distressing is exactly what I was looking for when I purchased them. If you’re big on reviews like I am, I would read through as many as you can to get an idea of the sizing. This particular brand tends to run small, yet these jeans run big as they stretch out, so it took me 2 purchases to get it right.
This weekend was another hot one and I’m hoping the last of this season! Blog pictures were actually on the agenda today but then I realized it would still be almost 100 degrees outside. I mean photoshop can do some amazing things, but fixing the makeup melting off your face is probably not the easiest. Also, I don’t know how to do that. But more importantly, why would I want to? I wouldn’t…I mean I don’t. I’ll just take them another day 🙂
In case you haven’t heard, Fall is almost here! If you read my blog regularly or follow me on Instagram (@Stephanieam) then you’ve heard about it non-stop #sorryimnotsorry. So of course I can’t get enough of boots and suede right now.
The great thing about investing in pieces wisely is that they’re most likely in season for many years.
Gray, maroon, black, brown, orange are popular fall colors that pretty much remain popular every year. I’ve been trying to keep all of that in mind as I purchase new season items. I actually do not like having a bunch of stuff, although my husband will never believe that statement 🙂 So the last few years I’ve been trying to make a conscious effort to purchase items that I really love, rather than, really like or it’s on sale. I think focusing on items that are really you, rather than in season, makes the purchase decision a little easier. Thanks for reading!
