What I’m thinking is that if you live where there is real winter than tights under this skirt and a heavier jacket should do the trick. This skirt is so comfortable and I’ve worn it really casual with Adidas and a t-shirt… still cute. It is from Missguided, however it looks like it’s currently sold out, even though it is still on their website. They might get more in so you can check back, or check out one of the similar options I linked below.
Even though it doesn’t snow or get super cold where I live, I still feel like I get into a rut during winter and only wear sweatshirts and jeans most days.
I mean, that’s not going anywhere because I love me some sweatshirts… and jeans… BUT it’s nice to change it up and feel a little dressy, even when it’s colder. Another thought I had about wearing skirts in winter is pairing them with knee high or over the knee boots. I saw pictures of Meghan Markle wearing a flared midi skirt with knee hight boots under and I loved the look. She also wore Stuart Weitzman Hiline boots under a midi length wool coat which was also really stylish. This is the first year I’ve seen that combo and I really like it and I would image the boots are warmer than wearing tights.
I have been wearing these boots non-stop as you can probably tell from my Instagram because they’re so cute and sure make a winter boot look trendy! They are the best dupe for the much more expensive Chloe version, but I actually like the look of these better. I also have them in the brown “luggage” color, so between the two, I wear them a lot.
