Striped Kimono For Spring To Summer

We’ve reached that point in Spring where everyone is now talking about Summer… myself included but that’s because it always feels like Summer, soooo ?‍♀️  I think the kimono was created for people like me, who refuse to give up their need for a cardigan, even when the weather says it’s time ? Okay that’s probably not why it was created but it’s definitely why I wear them!

They can also dress up an outfit just a tad and I’m all about pieces that make it seem like you put more work into your outfit than you did.

If stripes aren’t your thing, this floral Kimono is also so cute. Bodysuits and distressed jeans are always on repeat for me and probably will be for Summer because I like wearing items that can easily be worn with several other things in my closet. Also, these wedges have been super popular this season and I think they’re a really great buy. They’re very comfortable and the quality is the same as a much more expensive wedge. I also just ordered these  in the blush color because I really like the 3 straps, however, if they’re not as cute on as the ones I’m wearing I will probably just get a second color in those.

It’s been such a busy past few weeks, I feel like it’s going to be Christmas before we know it *silently rejoicing* but seriously, I don’t know where the time has gone. My mother in law is in town and staying with us this week so we’ve had a lot of fun going out to eat and making a day of coffee & dessert stops… what could be better??? Actually, what could be better is being able to do all of that while also staying on my Keto diet, but I haven’t been able to do that. I will be starting again at the end of this week and I’m actually looking forward to it. The one thing I really enjoy about Keto or a low carb diet is not having cravings. Once you eliminate sugar and carbs, you stop craving them after a few weeks and there’s no denying I feel so much better when I’m not eating all of that. That’s ultimately why I’m going back to that way of eating once our company leaves, but until then I’m savoring every slice of bread I can get my hands on… and then paying for it later ?

P.S. I add Keto recipes to my IG stories sometimes because I feel pretty victorious when I bake something healthy and it’s actually edible. I’ve thought about adding them to my blog as well, so if I get more requests about it then I will.

Thanks for reading!
