I think every closet needs a leather or faux leather moto jacket- especially if your style is minimalistic like mine. I just bought this jacket about a month or two ago- it is an investment piece but if you’re in the market for a new one trust me when I say you need this one! I had several faux leather bomber jackets in my closet but the material on my favorite one started peeling around the collar. I’ve had other faux leather jackets do that too and I’m not exactly sure of the cause. Maybe I should store them better? LOL.
Anyways, after I saw this was happening to my favorite jacket, last seen in this blog post, I decided I wanted to invest in a good quality jacket and get rid of all the other ones I had. So that’s what I did and now I’m down to just the one!
I love the style on it so much that I knew I wouldn’t reach for any of the others in my closet.
The jacket definitely has a 90s silhouette because of the sleeves but I love the big sleeve trend, plus I like that the sleeves are roomier so I can wear it over sweaters. If you like the oversized look then I suggest ordering your regular size (I’m wearing a small), but if you want it more fitted then size down. When I bought the jacket, it was only available in black leather but now I see it comes in several other colors including tan! I just might be adding it in that color to my Christmas wish list 🙂
I think a moto jacket is one of the easiest things you can style because they go with pretty much everything, but a bodysuit and high waisted jeans are usually on repeat for me so it was a no brainer. This seamless bodysuit it really comfortable, but I made the mistake of sizing up (like I always do with bodysuits) and it kept falling down in the front which was annoying. It doesn’t have adjustable straps, so I recommend going with your regular size.
