Winter Plaid Midi Skirt

I’m finally sharing this look that I wore on Christmas! I LOVE this style of skirt. It reminds me of the silhouette women used to wear in the early 1900s which I’ve always been kind of obsessed with.

Most people have heard of Ann of Green Gables, which is one of my favorite movies (and books) of all time, but not too many know about a spin off tv show called Road to Avonlea. I grew up watching that show and I desperately wanted to live in that town in that era. Of course, I never thought much about the minor details like no electricity, indoor plumbing etc LOL. The most important thing to me was the skirts! Fun fact: Mike found the tv show on DVDs for me a few years ago and gave them to me for Christmas. It is one of my favorite gifts anyone has every given me and I still watch them all the time!

Anyways, that’s a really long back story just to tell you that I like this skirt and that it’s only $30! Originally I wanted the red plaid version but it wasn’t going to arrive in time, but I ended up really liking the blue/green color. Also one more thing, the quality is really good!

The material is pretty thick and it’s lined so I’d say it’s definitely worth it.

Thanks for reading!
